This is a unique concept developed by the founder Reshma N C Shah to bring creative thought into our daily life.
The process of creation is in itself a creative one. Every human being has the potential to think out of the box and find solutions. Cooking, painting, sculpture, dance and poetry are all expressions of this potential.
When we do routine things we run the risk of falling into a trap. That trap is boredom and lack of interest in tasks related to our daily life. The result is mediocre work that does not get appreciated or rewarded, leading to a vicious circle.
This takes the joy out of doing something.
Sometimes we face problems that are too difficult or cannot be solved. We try different solutions but none seem to work. The problem could be related to our work or an issue in our personal lives. But it bothers us and hinders our personal and professional development.
Creativity@work is an approach, a way of thinking that enables us to try to find a solution in different ways. It empowers us to think out of the box. It opens our mind to new ways of thinking and finding solutions that work.
It is not a magic trick or a short cut.
To be truly creative you must first open your mind to new ways of thinking and not be afraid to try new ways of doing things. You must apply it and practice it in your daily life to become a creative person.
Using this approach, you can become a better student, teacher, parent, writer, speaker, sales executive or graphic artist.
